We envision a world free of oppression and inequality, promoting spaces of acceptance, dignity,
resilience, and security for all.

Who we are

Project Lighthouse is an international non-profit organization offering pro-bono consultation services to support and empower non-profit agencies that align with our vision and values. Founded with a passion for giving back and a desire to share our skills and talents to address capacity and programming issues to optimize impact on communities and society.

What we do

The founders of Project Lighthouse come from various private, public, and non-profit backgrounds with cumulative 30+years of experience in transformational change and social justice issues.

We work with organizations to identify their needs and determine how Project Lighthouse can collaboratively support them. We believe that success comes from collaborating and working together to solve problems. It comes from relationships built through active engagement, open sharing of information, mutual trust and respect.

Working together we can develop strategies, capacity and resource building activities, and support for implementing projects. Our team will conduct a needs analysis and work with organizational leads to determine how Project Lighthouse can collaboratively support the organization.

Our success…

…comes from people collaborating and working together to solve problems. It comes from relationships, active engagement, open sharing of information, mutual trust and respect.

Land Acknowledgement

Land Acknowledgement

Each of the places we are located at has a history, tradition, and story that should be honoured. As such, we would like to acknowledge that Project Lighthouse's head office is geographically located on the traditional territories of many First Nations communities, including the Anishnabeg, the Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nations. We acknowledge that the land is also home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.

Together we pay homage to Canada's Indigenous past and recognize our ongoing learning and work to continuously engage in self-reflection, be an ally, and recognizing inequities. This is the only way we can create a just, inclusive and vibrant community for all.
